With over 25 years of experience in healthcare operations, Carolyn Shields brings a proven record of leading growth, improving efficiency, and elevating quality across clinical environments. As a Registered Practical Nurse and seasoned operations executive, she combines deep clinical understanding with strategic business expertise to drive results. Carolyn has played a key role in expanding multi-specialty medical clinics throughout Ontario and is dedicated to building high-performing teams that deliver exceptional care and outcomes.

Josh has spent his career building customer-first businesses across health, wellness, and technology. Before joining HavenPoint, he led brand and growth initiatives for some of Canada’s fastest growing companies and co-founded ventures focused on creating meaningful, people-centered solutions. A proven operator and strategist, Josh now oversees the execution and expansion of HavenPoint’s mission to deliver integrated, high-quality care with compassion and clarity.

With over 20 years of experience across organizations such as Abbott Laboratories, Carl Zeiss Canada, and The Orthotic Group, she has built and led high-performing teams that elevate both business outcomes and the client experience.

Mikaela Jimenez is a dedicated healthcare professional who leads HavenPoint’s Disability Tax Credit (DTC) intake processes with a focus on person-centred and equitable care. She has contributed to the development of HavenPoint’s DTC training framework and educational resources, reflecting her commitment to patient advocacy and improving access to healthcare for underserved communities. Mikaela is completing her Honours Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Georgian College and has received specialized training in trauma-informed and person-centred care.

Rachel brings over five years of experience working with clinical and operations teams in a variety of healthcare settings. She recently graduated from the University of Western Ontario with an HBA in Psychology and is currently studying at Northeastern University to obtain an MS in Applied Behaviour Analysis.

Shelley is a dedicated Registered Practical Nurse with over three decades of diverse healthcare experience across hospital, home care, hospice, and community settings. Known for her compassionate approach and strong clinical skills, she provides attentive bedside care, patient education, and support with professionalism and empathy. Shelley’s extensive background, from frontline nursing to business ownership and volunteer medical missions, reflects her lifelong commitment to helping others and improving patient wellbeing.

Sarah Miller is our NPQ Intake Coordinator. She is a Registered Practical Nurse with over 17 years of clinical experience in bedside nursing and family practice. She is passionate about providing patient-centered care, knowing that each individual comes with unique experiences, values and needs. Sarah utilizes her compassionate approach to provide the best possible care to her patients.

Tamara is well-versed in managing and leading end-to-end recruitment projects; she combines people-centered insight with strategic talent acquisition expertise. She holds an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Ottawa, a Graduate Diploma in Marketing from the University of Toronto, and is currently completing her MBA through Florida Atlantic University.
